Today's adventure took us to Norman's annual "Touch A Truck" event where Ryan and I were eager to see up close a vast array of emergency and utility vehicles complete with bells and whistles.
Phoebe was eager to check out the police cruiser steering column.
And this fire truck was alright.
It has shiny knobs.
Then, suddenly "quite hour" was over and 40+ horns, whistles and emergency sirens sounded at once.
Not even the promise of candy could lure Phoebe onto that happy yellow school bus.
So, we headed for the under-construction parking lot where Phoebe took great fascination with the colorful reflector safety barricades.
Not exactly the outing we had in mind, but worth every minute.
