This Is Dedicated To The One I Love

My first Mother's Day was extra special because Phoebe was dedicated at our church's baby dedication service.

Since Phoebe's other baby friend, Mylee, wasn't able to be there, Phoebe got all the attention. Ryan shared Phoebe's birth story and the meaning of her name: Phoebe, who was Paul's emissary to the Romans, comes from the 16th chapter of the Book of Romans and means "Brilliant"; Louise means "Victorious" and is a special family middle-name shared by Ryan's Mom, Grandma and also my sister, Cara!
Phoebe appears to be stunned at the recollection of her birth, likely because she has not yet developed her long-term memory. No worries, she'll surely hear plenty of it in the future.
